Every 100 herdsmen families have 56 generators, including 55 wind power ones, in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Herdsmen used to lack conventional electricity supply and live a dull night life.
In order to solve the electricity supply problem, the regional government has taken effective measures to install wind power generators, including providing subsidies to herdsmen for buying such generators.
The region has also established five wind power yards, more than any other province-level areas in China.
