Mexican President to Visit China

President Vincente Fox Quesada of the United States of Mexico will pay a state visit to China from June 6 to 9 at the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zhu Bangzao made the announcement Tuesday afternoon at the regular press conference.

Zhu said that during the visit, Jiang and other Chinese leaders will meet with President Fox respectively and exchange views on bilateral relations and international issues of mutual interest.

He said, besides Beijing, Fox and his entourage will also visit Xi'an and Shanghai.
