Chinese Ships Heading to Fish in Panama Waters

Two Chinese fishing boats left Zhuhai in south China Sunday to fish in the waters of Panama, Latin America.

The ships were allowed to do the pelagic fishing after being assured of possessing valid papers both for the ships and sailors on board in a regular inspection.

According to the cooperation agreement with a Panama fishing company, which was responsible for the legality of the fishing and the logistics, the Chinese partner will send a total of 20 fishing ships to that area, a local official source said.
