At least 11 people were shot Monday night after a block party, police said.
No deaths were immediately reported, but there were ``some very serious injuries,'' Baltimore police spokesman Kevin Enright said.
He said investigators did not know how many shooters were involved, but that firing was ``indiscriminate'' during the shooting that occurred at about 9:30 p.m. in eastern Baltimore.
A block party with about 200 people had been held on the street earlier in the evening, Enright said. It was supposed to end at 7 p.m., but about 75 to 100 people were still on the scene when the shooting began.
