PRC Canon to Be Off Press"Canon of the People's Republic of China", a state-level large record on the development of the People's Republic of China, is to be published by China Finance and Economy Press, as a painstaking work of five-year efforts of more than 200 experts from various fields in China."Canon" is a great work for its outstanding structure and content coverage over new China's politics, economy, military, diplomacy, laws, science and technology, culture, etc. Altogether with 60 volumes to be put out, it has been compiled in a yearly chronological manner since 1949 plus appendices of rare historical pictures, important data charts, administrative division maps in different periods, indexes, important historical events as meetings, etc. In experts' opinion, "Canon" will for its mammoth work and rich material greatly facilitate research into the history of New China.
