Two Chinese naval ships arrived in Bombay Sunday for its first visit to India.

The naval ships were accorded a grand welcome at a ceremony by the Indian Navy upon arrival. Bombay is India's second largest city and biggest port and naval base.

The trip was made in return to a visit by the Indian destroyer "Delhi" to Shanghai last year.
