China and France are two cultural giants in the East and the West respectively, and they signed a document on setting up cultural centers in each other's country not long ago, which is of much significance for bilateral cultural exchanges, noted Tang. Vedrine said that the France-China relationship has been consolidated day by day over the past few years. Also, bilateral exchanges have been on the rise and negotiations and dialogues between the two sides have been fruitful.
