340,000 Disabled People Obtain Employment in Inner Mongolia
Some 340,000 disabled people in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region have been employed over the past decade and 64 percent of disabled children have entered schools, according to the region's disabled persons' association.
A total of 100,000 disabled people in the region have received surgery and rehabilitation services.
Occupation service centers have been established in 91 counties and county-level banners in the region's 12 cities and prefecture-level leagues, statistics show.
Sixty professional technique training stations for disabled persons have been set up in the region, according to sources.
