Vice Premier Meets European Parliamentary Guests

Chinese Vice Premier Qian Qichen met Friday with a delegation from the Group of United Left of the European Parliament headed by Francis Wurtz， chairman of the group.

During the meeting， Qian ， who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China （CPC ）， gave an account of socialism with Chinese characteristics and his view on current global situation.

China and Europe should expand their exchange and cooperation in all fields， and join hands to establish a fair and new international political and economic order， Qian stressed.

The delegation made the China tour at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
