Wei Jianhua of China Takes Women's Javelin Throw Title
Wei Jianhua of China took the title of the women's javelin throw with a winning distance of 61.10 meters at the East Asian Games on Friday.
Wei, the Asian record holder of the event, secured the victory in her third attempt but her winning result is more than 2 meters shy of her own Asian record of 63.92.
Japan
's Takako Miyake finished second at 56.61, followed by Zhang Li of China in the third place at 55.13.
