Liuzhou Railway Explosion Cracked

A thunderous railway explosion occurred in Nandan County, Guangxi last year has been solved by Liuzhou Railway Bureau, with six suspects caught by Liuzhou police.

At 4:55 am, November 16, 2000, a large explosion occurred on the railway tracks 276 meters away from Nandan Railway Station, derailing four carriages of K143 Beihai-Chengdu Express. The train was damaged and an eight-hour traffic block was caused.

To solve the case a police team of Liuzhou visited over 200 relevant units, villages and more than 10,000 people. Finally 6 suspects were caught in Tianjin, Hainan, Guangxi and other places. The 6 suspects have admitted their crime after being questioned.

As is reported, the explosion was a retaliatory act by Mo Mingjing with his group, who has nursed a deep grievance against the railway bureau after being punished for stealing transportation goods and materials.
