South Korea, China Take Women's Weightlifting Titles at Asiad

South Korea and China each took a gold medal in the women's weightlifting at the East Asian Games Thursday in Osaka.

Kim Soon-Hee of South Korea beat Chinese Xu Jiao and Deborah Lovely of Australia to take the women's 75kg class title, with a total lift of 247.5 kilograms.

Xu Jiao took the silver medal with a total of 235kg.

The gold medal of the women's over 75kg class was won by Zhang Nan of China who snatched 120kg and jerked 155kg for a winning total of 275kg.

Mun Kyung-ae of South Korea was runner-up to Zhang with 247.5kg, followed by Hsieh Su-hua of Chinese Taipei with 242.5kg.
