Venezuelan President Arrives in Beijing
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Frias arrived in Beijing Thursday afternoon on a five-day state visit to China at the invitation of President Jiang Zemin.
During the visit, President Jiang and other Chinese leaders will, respectively, meet with Chavez and exchange views with him on bilateral relations and international issues of mutual interest.
Besides Beijing, Chavez and his entourage will visit Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province.
This is Chavez's second state visit to China.
