Angola to Promote Friendship, Cooperation with ChinaAngola will seek better ways to promote the friendly and cooperative relations with China, President of the Angolan National Assembly (ANA) Roberto de Almeida said Wednesday in Luanda.Almeida made the remarks at the Luanda International Airport on his return to Angola after an 11-day visit to China. The president said that the two countries will continue with the direct and good-quality relations through the promotion of bilateral exchanges. He said that it is necessary for the parliaments of both countries to intensify dialogues in a bid to promote mutual understanding. Meanwhile, the Angolan top legislator mentioned that he had visited a lot of political, economic, cultural and social facilities and many historical national monuments in China, saying that he is surprised at the state of the art of China's development. During the visit to China, Almeida met with Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress Li Peng and visited several cities, including Beijing, Xi'an, Guiyang and Shanghai.
