All-Around Champion Yang Wei Beaten Again at Apparatus FinalsMen's all-around champion Yang Wei of China suffered his second defeat in the rings and failed to win a single medal so far in the apparatus finals.Yang Wei scored only 9.575 points to finish fourth in the rings. His teammate Huang Xu shared the gold medal with Japanese Norimasa Iwai at 9.675. The bronze medal went to another Japanese Hiroyuki Tomita who scored 9.650 points. Yang Wei was also beaten in the pommel horse final, in which China only got a bronze medal through Huang Xu. The gold medal was shared by South Korean Shin Hyung-Ook and Japanese Akihiro Kasamatsu. |
