Mainland Firms to Highlight Computex Taipei 2001

It's reported that the mainland delegation will arrive at Taipei to attend the Computex Taipei 2001. The presentation of the computer firms from the mainland will by then become a hot topic of this international computer fair.

Yang Yuanqing, CEO of the Legend Group, Yang Yuhang, general manager of the Great Wall Broadband Network Service Co., Ltd. and other big-shots of major enterprises of the same trade from the Chinese mainland will attend the fair. Moreover, Yang Yuanqing and Wang Zhentang, general manger of Hongdian will chair a CEO summit during the fair period.

As estimated by local media Taiwan is going to loose the world's third largest computer show next year following the loss of the place as the world's third largest information hardware production base which was replaced by the mainland last year.
