Chinese Gymnasts finish One-Two in Women's Vault

China finished one-two in the women's vault through Dong Fangxiao and Liu Wei at the apparatus finals of the East Asian Games gymnastics tournament on Wednesday.

Dong Fangxiao was awarded 9.275 points to surpass her teammate Liu Wei for the title. Liu Wei won the silver at 9.137 while Maika Mizutori of Japan took the bronze medal at 9.075.

Earlier in the men's pommel horse final, two Chinese Olympic champions Yang Wei and Huang Xu were stunned as they were beaten by Japanese and South Korean opponents.

Akihiro Kasamatsu of Japan and Shin Hyung-Ook of South Korea shared the gold medal with 9.675 points. Huang Xu had to settled for the bronze medal at 9.625 points.
