6th World Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention to Be Held

Wang Yiming, vice-chairman of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, said at a press conference in New York that the 6th World Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs' Convention is going to be held in Nanjing from September 17 to 19. As predicted 5,000 overseas entrepreneurs, distinguished Chinese businessmen will be present at the Convention.

Bao Yujun, vice-chairperson of the preparatory committee for the Convention and of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, said that leading Chinese officials have attached great importance to the Convention, several State leaders will attend the Convention and some ministers will give speeches on the issues of China's western development, financial policy, the opening of service industry and China's WTO entry.

So far, more than 178 overseas Chinese societies have signed up for participating in the Convention with 1,500 attendees involved, and it is predicted that the number would surpass 3,000.

China is undergoing rapid development, it is a rare opportunity for overseas Chinese businessmen to seek cooperation with Chinese enterprises, a large number of Chinese-French businessmen have expressed great interests in the Convention.
