Li Hongli Takes Weightlifting Men's 77kg Title
Li Hongli kept China's dominance in weightlifting by taking the title of the men's 77kg at the East Asian Gamesn Tuesday in Osaka.
Li Hongli totalled 362.5kg for the title, bettering his personal best by 7.5kg.
Li snatched 168kg to break the Asian record of 167.5kg and then jerked 195kg for a winning total.
Lee Kang-suk of South Korea garnered a total of 350kg for the silver medal, followed by Akira Kisogawa of
Japan
for the bronze medal at 315kg.
