National Survey to Reveal Changes of Trades in China
China is to launch a national survey to investigate the changes of various trades in the country over the past five years, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said Tuesday.
The national survey scheduled for the end of this year will be the second of its kind in China since the end of 1996.
The survey will cover all legal-person-status entities and their subordinated units of business operations, such as legal-person-status enterprises at and above village level and their subordinated business operations, non-profit units and social groups.
According to NBS, results of the survey will be used to develop and complete a national database of basic units of different trades, which will be shared by all relevant government departments and research institutes.
