Hong Kong-Shaanxi Economic, Trade Fair Opens
A high-level economic and trade fair was opened Monday in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province to welcome investment from Hong Kong business circles.
Over 280 senior officials with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) and heads of big Hong Kong-based companies held talks with local entrepreneurs about their cooperation in the fields of finance, tourism, real estate, IT, media and other industries at the fair.
The representatives of Hong Kong enterprises are here to seek business opportunities in China's west region, according to Donald Tsang Yam-kuen, Hong Kong's financial secretary who is heading the Hong Kong group at the fair.
It is learned Shaanxi will hold a Hong Kong-Shaanxi investment fair in Hong Kong in late June.
