South Korea Beats China in Women's BasketballSouth Korea used a 34-6 play in the fourth quarter to turned up the table, walking away with a 99-84 win over China in the women's basketball competitions at the East Asian Games Monday in Osaka.Entering the decisive quarter with 13 points down, South Koreans double-teamed everywhere on the court to force an amazing 28-2 run in over eight minutes, building up an unbeatable lead at 93-80 with 1:18 minutes to go. China led all the way through the first three quarters and led as many as 19 points in the first half, but seemed at a completely loss when their opponents shifted to more suffocated defence. "I was not worry when our team trailed in the early time of the game. I was confident that we could make it up with our secret defence tactics to the end," South Korea's head coach Lee Mon-kyu said. Center Jung Sun-min chipped in 30 points, delivered seven assists and grabbed five rebounds for South Korea, while guard Kim Yeong-ok added 26 points and six assists. China's 195-meter center Chen Nan had a game-high score of 32 points, with a 13-15 shooting rate in the field,and added 11 rebounds.
