Asia-Pacific IT Training Course Opens in Shanghai
An Asia-Pacific training course on information technology started Monday in this metropolis in east China, attracting some 21 participants from
Thailand
,
Vietnam
,
Singapore
and other countries and regions.
It is the first time that
Shanghai
hosted a training course for the elite IT managers and technical personnel in the Asia-Pacific region.
Apart from learning the latest information and skills involving the most cutting-edge technologies of website development, trainees will also have a chance to visit some local units that have made outstanding accomplishments in IT construction.
The training course is expected to become a good beginning for the work of eliminating the "digital wide gap" between developing countries and developed ones, according to an official in charge of urban IT affairs in the Asia-Pacific region.
