China Beats Cambodia 3-1 in World Cup Qualifier
China maintained their winning momentum in the group qualifiers of the 2002 World Cup as they pulled off a 3-1 victory over the visiting Cambodia Sunday in Guangzhou.

China drew the first blood through midfielder Ma Mingyu in the fifth minute before guard Xu Yunlong made it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Striker Li Bin completed the scoresheet on 42 minutes of the second half.

Camdodia, which lost to China 4-0 at home court early in May, scored a consolation goal in the 12th minute.
