Austrian President Concludes Visit to China

Austrian President Thomas Klestil left here Saturday afternoon after finishing his five-day working visit to China.

The president has left for Austria.

Earlier Saturday, the president attended a cornerstone-laying ceremony and an operation ceremony of two Austria-invested companies in Shanghai.

Arrived here Friday, Shanghai Mayor Xu Kuangdi met with Klestil.

Klestil delivered a speech at the renowned Tongji University.

Klestil and his delegation arrived in Beijing last Tuesday as guest of Chinese President Jiang Zemin.
