Chinese, Thai Youth Hold Friendship Get-together

Thousands of Chinese young people and 300 Thai young entrepreneurs joined each other at a party of friendship Saturday night in this capital of Fujian Province.

The theme of the party is Peace, Friendship and Development. The Chinese and Thai young people gave performances of singing and dancing in a local park.

A Thai university troupe performed traditional Thai dances and music, which drew warm applause from the audience.

The 2001 Thai Commodities Fair is being held in Fuzhou.
