Shanghai Telecom began Friday to provide hotline services concerning various Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings to be held in Shanghai this year.
The hotline (82001) will provide a 24-hour consultation service from May 18 to October 31 offering comprehensive and timely information about the meetings.
This is the first time for such a call center to be set up for APEC meetings and large-scale international conferences in China.
The hotline will also provide vocal, video and digital information about the APEC meetings, as well as weather forecast, and tourism and traffic information.
