Election-related violence has claimed 98 lives in the run-up to Monday's congressional and local polls, according to an official count earlier. More than 36 million Filipinos cast their votes on Monday in 234,259 polling stations nation-wide to elect 13 senators, 260 congressmen and over 17,000 local government officials and councilors.
