China Print 2001 to Open in Beijing

The fifth Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition, also called China Print 2001, is scheduled to open on May 23 and end May 28.

Organizers told a news conference held Friday that some 600 print companies from about 20 countries and regions will demonstrate various printing, packaging and office equipment during the event.

The exhibition covers a total area of 45,000 square meters.

International printing giants like Heidelberg, AGFA, Man Roland and Beijing Founder will stage their various digital printing solutions at the exhibition.

China Print is China's largest printing technology exhibition and also one of the six largest international print exhibitions.

Experts said that the upcoming exhibition will be a milestone in China's development of digitized printing solutions.

The exhibition's organizers have launched a website for the event: Chinaprint.org.net.cn (in Chinese) and Printchina.com (in English).
