Senior Official On Talents Training
Wang Zhongyu, State Councilor and secretary-general of the State Council, urged personnel departments at all levels to strengthen talents training.
Wang made the call here Thursday at a national seminar on talents training strategy. Wang said that educating, attracting and making good use of talented people are key points for the strategy.
Educating high-level professionals will help the country improve its international competitiveness and provide personnel support for China's reform, opening up and construction of socialist modernization.
The official called on personnel departments to further carry out reforms of the personnel system to make high-quality professionals the motive power behind China's reform and renovation.
