Chinese President, Sultan of Brunei Meet Delegates of APEC High Level Meeting

Chinese President Jiang Zemin and Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Haji Hassanal Bolkiah met Tuesday with several delegates to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) High Level Meeting on Human Capacity Building.

The Chinese President and Sultan of Brunei shook hands with the delegates in the Great Hall of the People and posed for a group picture taken with them.

Among those present at the meeting were leaders of the delegations represent 21 members of the APEC, specially invited guests and representatives of international organizations.

Zeng Qinghong, a member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Wang Zhongyu, a state councilor and secretary general of the State Council, Zhang Xuezhong, minister of personnel, and Brunei's Minister of Industry and Primary Resources Pehin Dato Abdul Rahman Taib, as well as other high-ranking officials, were also present at the meeting.
