Austrian President Arrives in Beijing
Austrian President Thomas Klestil arrived in Beijing Tuesday afternoon for a five-day working visit to China as guest of Chinese President Jiang Zemin.
During the visit, leaders of the two countries are expected to exchange views on bilateral ties and international issues of common interest, said a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
President Klestil, who has visited China three times before, will also attend the celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Chinese-Austrian diplomatic relations.
