China's Only Liger On Show in Sichuan
A liger imported from
France
has been put on show at the Bifengxia Zoo in Ya'an City in southwest China's
Sichuan
Province.
This is the only liger in China and one of the few in the world.
The 16-year-old female liger, named "Lili", is 1.25 meters long and weighs 150 kg. It is the offspring of a Siberian tiger and an African lion.
