Inner Mongolia Leads China in Wind-Power Generated Electricity

The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has built five wind power generation yards, more than any other province-level area in China.

The yards are located in Jurh, Shangdu, Xilin, Dali and Huitengxile.

The region currently has 137 wind-power generators, with a total generating capacity of 58,000 kilowatts, accounting for 26 percent to the nation's total.

Inner Mongolia will try to improve its conventional energy structure and atmosphere conditions by developing and utilizing wind power.

It can also supply large amounts of clean electricity to the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshang area, one of the most developed areas in China.
