Family Violence Hotline Opens
The Women's Federation of northwest China's Shaanxi Province opened a hotline Monday to deal with the growing problem of family violence.
Cao Lili, chairperson of the federation, said that the 10 experts who are on duty at the hotline will provide timely consultation and help for women who encounter family violence.
At the same time, women can receive education via the hotline on handling this problem.
On the first day, about 30 persons, including several men, dialed the hotline for help.
