China in Good Stead to Hold 2008 Olympics GamesTo ensure Beijing complete successful in its 2008 Olympics bid, an 800-square-meter "Olympics-related high-tech products" exhibition hall has been setup in showing Beijing's ability to play host to the 2008 Olympic Games. Hi-tech products on display include the city's informationalization construction, intellectual traffic, online registration, inhouse automatic control system, mobile communication, digital high definition TV system, Olympics-related papers making and nano-materials. To demonstrate the relationship between hi-tech and Olympics, BOBICO has made a statistic table in showing ever raised technologies that had been used from 1912 to 2000 Olympiads Yu said that Beijing has worked out plans for hosting the expected 2008 Olympiad at an all-time hi-tech level.
