A Chinese trade website signed an agreement Sunday in Beijing with an American company to jointly set up a website featuring purchase services.
According to the agreement signed by http://www.itdn.com.cn and the US-based Yourimporter Inc. at the construction and development meeting on world scientific and technological parks, part of the ongoing the Fourth Beijing International Hi-Tech Week, the new website -- http://www.itdn.quoteforum.com -- is expected to provide trade opportunities with an annual value of US$2.5 billion for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Yourimporter comprises six major retail companies in the United States and over 11,000 buyer clients worldwide, which have an annual purchasing power of US$5 billion worth of products. More than half of the products are imported from China.
Yourimporter senior official Jim Griffis said that via the website, overseas buyers will access to latest information about Chinese products which are high-quality and low-cost.
