CPPCC Vice Chairman Leaves for Japan

Song Jian, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), left Beijing Saturday for Japan to attend the 19th session of the InterAction Council to be held on May 12-15.

Song is attending the session at the invitation of the InterAction Council, an important international non-governmental organization with the members from over 30 countries.

The council holds a meeting annually, and during the session of this year, the participants will discuss geopolitical and economic factors in the Asia-Pacific region and globalized management.
