Beijing Economic Zone Signs Major Investment Contracts
The
Beijing
Economic and Technological Development Zone signed 19 major investment contracts Friday at the ongoing Fourth Beijing International High- Tech Week.
The projects involve a total investment of US$1.2 billion and focus on electronic information, biological technology, new medicine, material science and new energy sources.
An official with the zone expected that the number of such contracts signed during the week will total 30 and be valued at US$2. 5 billion.
