Hebei Made Regulations to Encourage Private Sector of Economy

North China's Hebei Province issued recently its third law to encourage the growth of private economy.

Regulations on Supporting Self-employed Business and Private- owned Enterprises stipulate that protective and supportive polices will be given to the private sector, and it will enjoy the same treatment as other ownership economies do.

The province now has 3 million self-employed businesses and privately owned enterprises, which employ 9.1 million people. The private sector reported an industrial added value of 140 billion yuan (US$17 billion), or 28 percent of the city's total.
