NPC Vice-Chairwoman Meets Vietnamese Guests

He Luli, vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, met Thursday with a delegation of the Vietnam Peace Committee headed by its vice-chairman Hong Ha.

He Luli, also president of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD), held friendly talks with the guests on both sides' domestic situation as well as world and regional peace, cooperation and development.

The Vietnamese guests are here at the invitation of CPAPD, and will visit other Chinese cities including Xi'an in northwest Shaanxi Province and Guilin, Liuzhou and Nanjing in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Vietnam Peace Committee was founded in 1950 by former Vietnamese President Ho Chi Minh. It serves to help boost the country's reform, opening up and foreign relations.
