China Holds 4th International Conference On ManagementThe 4th International Conference on Management (ICM) focusing on the theme "New Century, New Management" closed Sunday in Xi'an at the prestigious Xi'an JiaotongUniversity. About 260 experts and scholars from across the world attended the two-day event which was organized by the China National Natural Science Foundation and the Xi'an Jiaotong University, with the help of the World Bank and other international organizations. China has made rapid improvements in management science in the past two decades, but according to experts, the lack of both management personnel and scientific management ideas are still a big challenge for the country. The first three ICMs were held in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai respectively. |
