Li Nan Wins Top Prize in Evening Dress Design Contest
Designer Li Nan from Beijing won the top prize for evening gown in China's largest design contest, which concluded in Chaozhou City recently.
The prize winners were selected from over 1,000 entries of gowns designed by designers from China, the United States, Russia, Poland, Britain and Italy.
The 9-member selection committee consisted of famous designers and scholars from the United States, Spain, France, and China.
Nineteen models from the United States performed at the two-day contest.
The contest was organized by the Chaozhou Municipal government in cooperation with the Lady's Wear Committee of the China Garment Association, and the Guangdong Provincial Dress and Personal Adornment Association.
