China Beats Japan In Asia Cup Badminton

China beat Japan with ease on the second-day of the Asia Cup Badminton Championship in Singapore on Thursday.

Recovering from their loss to Thailand on Wednesday, the Chinese went ahead to win the two opening singles matches and the following doubles over their Japanese rivals.

On Chinese chances when playing Malaysia on Friday, Chinese coach Zhong Bo was cautious to mention that the upcoming confrontation is crucial to both teams as the result will decide on their qualification for the semifinals.

In other matches on Thursday, Indonesia defeated Hong Kong, China 3-0, South Korea edged out Singapore 2-1 and Thailand upset Malaysia 2-1.
