Better Weather Predicted

Holiday makers will enjoy better weather in the coming days in most of North China, weathermen said yesterday.

Overcast and dusty weather in Beijing and other areas of northern China made people worry that the rest of the May Day holiday would be ruined.

For the past two days, the capital city has been struck by dusty air. But thundershowers yesterday in Beijing and some areas of northern China helped get rid of some dust.

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicted that dusty weather or rain will come to Inner Mongolia and some parts of Northeast China in the next few days.

The capital will still be plagued by dust today, although it is not expected to be as serious as yesterday.
