Chiang Romps into Men's Singles 16 at Table Tennis Worlds

World number four Chiang Peng-Lung of Chinese Taipei brushed aside Dutchman Danny Heister at the men's singles third round of the World Table Tennis Championships Thursday in Osaka.

Chiang, good at forehand topspin and backhand blocking, beat the Dutchman 21-15, 24-22, 21-15.

Chiang is to take on German star Timo Boll, a 3-1 winner over Chinese Zhan Jian.
