Asian Water-Skiing Championships End

The 15th Asian Water-skiing Championships ended here on Wednesday with South Korea winning the team title.

The South Korean team collected a total of 7824.2 points. The second and third places went to China (5821.2) and Japan (2778.8).



South Korean Eum Yoon-Young Snatched three gold medals - men's slalom, jumping and all-round event while his compatriot Kim Key- Young won the women's slalom, jumping and all-round golds.

In the men's figure water-skiing event, China's Shi Longfei captured the champion with 5640 points while his compatriot E'min won the women's event with 5740 points.

A total of 28 competitors from Chinese Taipei, China's Hong Kong, Japan, South korea, Singapore and hosts China participated in the Championships.
