Putin, Bush Hold Phone Conversation on Arms ReductionUS President George W. Expressing appreciation for Bush's information, Putin reiterated Russia's readiness to make concerted efforts with the US side to promote nuclear arms reduction and eliminate potential threats by keeping the structure of disarmament accords, which was created more than 30 years ago. Paying special attention to cooperation in solving regional problems, the two leaders discussed possible steps toward settling the Middle East issue, said the press service.
