CPC Delegation Leaves for Four-Nation Tour

A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) left Beijing Wednesday morning for a tour to four Asian nations.

Headed by Li Changchun, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, the delegation will visit Singapore, India, Thailand and Malaysia.

Li and the delegation are visiting at the invitation of Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Indian Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh, Thai Foreign Minister Surakiat Sathirathai, and Malaysian Minister of Energy, Communication and Multimedia Leo Moggie.
