Arrest Warrant Issued to Estrada's Political AlliesPhilippine Police on Tuesday disclosed that an arrest warrant was issued to former Philippine National Police chief Panfilo Lacson for allegedly inciting rebellion, a TV report said.Similar orders have been issued for the arrest of Senators Juan Enrile and Gregorio Honasan, former ambassador to the United States Ernesto Maceda, military official Brig. Gen. Marcelino Malajacan, and other known supporters of ousted president Estrada, police intelligence chief Reynaldo Berroya was quoted by the ABS- CBN news channel as saying. Elements of the Philippine National Police's (PNP's) Criminal Investigation and Detection Group are on their way to effect the arrest of Senator Gregorio Honasan, the ABS-CBN. The intelligence chief said the instruction to serve arrest warrants on Lacson and other personalities was issued by Justice Secretary Hernando Perez. Meanwhile, the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation is reportedly enforcing a hold departure order against Estrada's allies. Metro Manila is under a state of rebellion in the wake of the violence that erupted between Estrada supporters and authorities attempting to disperse them early Tuesday morning.
